Return Policy

We want you to love your new furniture and mattresses! But sometimes things just don’t work out as planned. We’ve designed our Return Policy to make returns and exchanges simple and convenient for you.
  • We offer a one-time re-selection within 3 days of receiving your non-custom merchandise. Please note that a restocking fee of 20% will be charged, not to exceed $250. We apologize, but custom order merchandise may only be returned if defective, or if there were mistakes made by our team during the ordering process.
  • All items must be returned to our store location to be processed. If the item was picked up by the customer, the customer will be responsible for bringing the item back to the store. If the selection was delivered by Hot Buys, we will arrange to pick up the item.
What's Covered by Our 3-day Return Policy?

Merchandise that you are not satisfied with, does not fit in your space, or meet your preference (see exclusions below). Unopened Ready to Assemble (RTA) items that come flat packed in a box.

What's Not Covered by Our Return Policy?

Clearance merchandise and floor samples. We sell lots of closeouts, discontinued items, special purchases, and manufacturers’ buy-outs at the lowest prices possible. We aren’t able to allow returns, exchanges, or refunds on clearance and floor sample merchandise. All sales in these product categories are final.
  • Bedding accessories, including adjustable/power bases, bed frames, sheets, mattress protectors, and pillows
  • Opened Ready to Assemble (RTA) flat-pack boxes.
  • Opened rug pads.
  • Merchandise damaged by misuse or improper assembly after you have taken possession of the product.
  • Mattresses (see below).

Mattresses

Because we support several bedding manufacturers, we do not have one policy that covers all manufacturers. We will support and administer the warranty policies and procedures established for each specific manufacturer that we sell and display.  

Damaged Products

Products with damage concealed by packaging will either be serviced or exchanged at no extra charge (delivery fees may apply). If you take a product home or receive a delivery with damage, just contact our Customer Service support by email info@hotbuysfurnitureoutlet.com, or by phone 336.907.8303 within 3 days.
If the damaged product cannot be repaired or exchanged for the same item, you have two options:
  1. Select a replacement product, and pay or receive a refund for any price difference.
  2. Receive a full refund.

How Do I Start a Return or Exchange?

If you with to return or exchange your product, please call our Customer Service line at 336.907.8303, email info@hotbuysfurnitureoutlet.com, or visit our showroom.
We will give you two options:
  1. Return the product to our store at our pick-up dock during normal business hours.
  2. Schedule a delivery pick-up or exchange with normal delivery fees.
